Local Light Alignment for Multi‐Scale Shape Depiction

Motivated by recent findings in the field of visual perception, we present a novel approach for enhancing shape depiction and perception surface details. We propose shading-based technique that relies on locally adjusting direction light to account different components materials. Our ensures congruence between shading flows, leading an effective enhancement details while impairing neither lighting nor appearance It is formulated general way allowing its use multiple scales real-time GPU, as well global illumination contexts. also provide artists with fine control over at each scale.
